Halfmen army: mules (or ponies) with baggage and war chario

Postby Lord of the Bears » Sun Jul 21, 2019 2:12 pm

Hi, Frothers,
Mirliton has also put in its on-line catalog, with Halfmen miniatures, a blister with two mules or ponies - see the image:

By chance some of you know if Nick Lund had made the rules to use them in Fantasy Warriors? In the army list that by Grenadier it was published in the "Nick Lund F.W. Update" there were no table for them, as there it was no table for the war chariot:

Have you any news that the tables for the ponies and the war chariot have been published by Grenadier in one of the issues of Warrior magazine or in one of the old Grenadier documents?
Do any of you use them? With what rules?
Thank you
Greetings,
Sergio - Naran Team Turin

Sorry -- I can't answer your question, so my comments are irrelevant, but, as you seem acknowledge in the thread title, those "mules" would pass more as ponies, though even there, better ponies exist.

Second -- though I guess even more irrelevant for fantasy -- I'd hate to try a fast turn on that chariot.

Hi, sorry if I took a little time to answer you.
No problem. The table gives the profile of the war chariot and the rules for ponies. We just wanted to have your confirmation that Nick Lund hadn't already done it. But it seems not, so we thought about it.
Yes, sorry, I had written "mules" but I wanted to understand the ponies, for which Grenadier had made special miniatures, put back into production by Mirliton.
You can find our updated army list of Halfmen-Haflings in our site, this is the link to the page:

Sorry, at the moment it is still only in the Italian version.
Best regards and best wishes for a good 2020
