Looking for Gamers in the Mid-Atlantic US area

Postby dhauser » Fri Aug 15, 2014 4:25 pm

With the recent influx of new posters to FU I thought I would ask how many folks are within an hour or two of the Washington DC area. A few of us are trying to form a loose society of gamers to play games in the spirit of Grant and Featherstone.

The Society of Gentle(men/women/trans/etc,etc) Gamers in the Eastern States. SoGGiES. :loopy:

Being a Society and not a Club or Organization it will be a very informal group.

I don't believe the US owns the mid Atlantic.
THIS IS A FIERCE BAD RABBIT;
look at his savage whiskers,
and his claws and his turned-

I'm above the DC traffic...in both meanings :wink:

If you get up to Cold Wars or NJCON we'll have to say hello.

btw- we're FB friends. :lol:

when we visit family we're only a couple of hours drive from DC, I'll drop you a line when I know we are next going out there. (it may be a 3hr drive, I can't recall fully, they live near Avondale, PA. Think Wilmington is the nearest place of any size.

Excellent! Let me know and we'll hit one of the battlefields if you want and then I'd be honored to treat for dinner someplace nice-ish. :)
