I can see loads of uses for the legs in particular, reckon I'llbe getting some of those.

Not bad, but for a similar style I prefer the ones from Heresy.

They look to be useful, will be interested.

Very tempting.

Not having tabs for slotabases or integral bases is interesting. I find the latter a pain in the backside but I am not very good with the former. This sounds like a great idea - though I might change my mind after trying to peg the little buggers to a plain, ordinary old fashioned plastic base. I have some figures to base so I should try it, nipping of the tabs below their feet.

Oddly I am quite impressed with the way Mantic does it with their plastic figures, they have a moulded on round plastic base that plugs into a round or square base of the proper size, the only problem with them is that they have a vertical edge not a sloped one like a 'real' plastic base.

They've got the ratio of torsos to legs all wrong.
I'd recognise that sound anywhere! That's the sound of a hundred heads deflating.

I don't get that :? . Why is it a fail not to have a backpack?

Fighting troops would normally dump their packs as soon as possible so they don't become encumbered in a firefight.

I am just curious as to your thoughts on the subject.

Oh forgot to comment on the troops

The new heads are great and the more detailed weaponry is an improvement. The bodies aren't bad but I would second the Heresy statement.
