I see the new Minister of Defence (aptly titled as he seems to have the IQ of a fence post) has declared the 1964 Military Coup to be ‘ the movement of March 31’ and something worthy of commemoration.

I’m in two minds as to whether the latest double-speak is a cunning linguistic attempt to draw a parallel with the Carnation Revolution and its Movimento das Forças Armadas or just typical Bozo dumbfuckery dripping with irony.

At any rate these past couple of days show that there’s at least now an open question as to how far the military will go to support Bozo. All three heads of service in a day, that’s a new record.
