And yet, as a nation, you still seem to be letting him get away with it.
So much for arming yourselves against tyrants.

Trump-Appointed Judge Dismisses Pennsylvania Election Case in Trump's Latest Legal Defeat

Donald Trump's latest case regarding the 2020 election results has been dismissed. On Friday, a judge (who was appointed by Trump) dismissed the case against Pennsylvania, where Trump attempted to undo Joe Biden's victory.

Circuit Judge Stephanos Bibas, who oversaw the case, began the scathing ruling stating: "Free, fair elections are the lifeblood of our democracy. Charges of unfairness are serious. But calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here."

Trump nominated Bibas to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 2017.

The ruling details Pennsylvania voting laws, poll watchers, and mail-in voting, all of which were legal during this presidential election season. Bibas wrote that the Trump campaign is undeserving of an order that prevented the state's election results from becoming official. Bibas noted that the "claims have no merit."

No doubt. I also find it funny that those who scream the loudest about the need to arm themselves against tyranny are also those absolutely willing to vote in an emperor.

But it makes much more sense if you realize that the right to bear arms has always meant, for a large part if not the majority of white Americans the right to “kill any nigger or injun who steps foot on mah property”.

The “tyranny” they are worried about is white trash losing its last teensy privilege: that of being able to carry arms, in public, and not get shot for it.

And before Bill or some anonyhobbit winges about “white trash”, I self identify as white trash that had the great good fortune of getting a university scholarship and getting the fuck out of the paper mills.

Trump pardon's Flynn and could pardon hundreds of others. He may even try to pardon himself.

He should have pardoned Flynn 3 years ago. Instead we had the guy bankrupt himself, giving right wing pundits all kind of babble about how he was set up. Poor naive Lieutenant General, so unworldly. Dumb enough to talk to the FBI with no lawyer to remind him of his talking points.
