nasty cough you have there, read what I said again. I remember going round a show with a lad who was GW all the way through. He was stunned. Paint? Glue? Wargames Figures not made by GW? He was like a Dog that had been chained in a kennel from Birth in a field full of slow-moving lambs.

Might want to read what I said, Patty.

I said, “I wish someone else would come out with a line of these.”

You replied that no one other than GW had the customer base to do it.

I replied by implying that War Paint and Vallejo are pretty darn popular and one would assume have enough customers to do something similar.

Are we all caught up in reading rainbow land now?

No one thinks you are really this fucking obtuse.

There's a sharp difference between a customer base who buy paint, for example Vallejo or War Paint, and the customer base GW have who will buy (or recast) everything they are told is amaaaaaaaazing like little worshippers. I think that was clear from my first post and clearer from my second post.

you are a Dickhead.

Didn’t you just say I was a cunt?

I am not saying Vallejo or War Paint’s fans are as nuts as GW’s: I AM saying that there are enough of them to make a competing contrast paint line viable.

Understand now?

Btw, it is interesting to me how Pricky and you both repeat the same lie: that I recast figures.

Like many gamers, I have impression-molded pieces of figures to get copies for kit bashes. That is well covered by ethics and copyright law, and if the now-defunct Spartan Games were daft enough to try to sue me for it, they’d be tossing money into the wind. But they have since folded, so I think I am safe on that count.

Like almost every other gamer in Brazil in the 1990s, I have BOUGHT recast figs because there was no other reliable way of getting them, short of traveling overseas.

Most of those were GW recasts, to be fair, but that wasn’t my choice: that was all that was on the market at the time.

If Pat could keep his various socks organized, it would probably help.
