Mac - if that's all they got - they are at the bottom of the barrel. Even to those you descibe I reckon a cop of any type would still be better than Trump.
2020 Trump is not 2016 Trump.

Surely 2020 Trump is not good for a laugh or a hissy fit as your Dem did not get in.

No, what they will try to do now, I think, is double down on getting Bernie Bros and the “ultra-woke” white boys to sit the election out because she is a cop.

If true, the election will be decided by which side has the fewest number of pissed off partisans staying home.

That’s what I’m hoping.

The other day on my FB page, my dad (a retired warehouse worker who voted for Trump), one of the founders of our local socialist party, the PSOL, a black independent journalist, a gay immigrant Georgetown grad student, and our very own redneck hippy Kyote were all spontaneously musing together over Kamala Harris and the need to absolutely defeat Trump.

That kind of “rainbow coalition of disgust” makes me cautiously hopeful.

The women I know on Facebook all like Harris. They all want Harris to eat Pence alive in the VP debate.

The pandemic is ravaging the US. A thousand deaths a day. The economy is in shambles. Millions may be made homeless in the next few months.

It's a relief to see that our president was up early this morning, focusing on these important problems (thank you President Trump!)
