How can anyone who works with numbers say the shit he routinely says?

You've seen the list of Boeing fuckups

Mithy lacks the ability to do critical thinking. Considering that he's a beancounter accountant cost management analyst for the USA's largest aircraft manufacturer Boeing's HR department might want to have a word about his career path.

I would expect that Boeing or any other vaguely competent Fortune 500 firm would fire him in a heartbeat if they had an inkling of an employee claiming to aggressively flout social distancing thus consciously endangering the rest of their work force.

As to his well demonstrated inability to think critically, in days past as railroads no longer needed fireman on engines but did not want to (or could not via union rules) terminate these in many cases long term employees, they would move them into essentially bookkeeping roles in Finance, Accounting or Tax and while the etymological basis of the term escapes me, it was called 'feather bedding'. I suspect Missy may be that category of essentially charity case employment as it would seem unfathomable that over a period of years, the toxic ignorance wouldn't other wise shine brightly and career fatally.

He was a sergeant attached to 3rd Army’s S2 HQ in the first Gulf War. Maybe he is why the Army kept on talking about the Republican Guard as eight foot tall desert ninja warriors before they were carpet bombed i to the sand.

TACTICAL ASSEMBLY AREA LION, Kuwait (Army News Service) --
When the 1st Cavalry Division s 2nd Brigade deployed to Kuwait
for Intrinsic Action 95-3, the 3rd Army was already there waiting
for them.
A contingency staff element from the 3rd Army was in place
to provide enhanced command and control of forces in that area
deployed for exercise Intrinsic Action 95-3.
"We are here to give support to the 2nd brigade in the
field of operations, intelligence, communication security,
supply, etc.," said Sgt. 1st Class James Holden, S-3
noncomissioned officer in charge of ARCENT Kuwait.
That support comes in the form of the six elements of a
headquarters, S-1 through S-6.
The S-1 section s mission is to serve as an interface
between the task force, the division and ARCENT in the area of
personnel actions, mail, pay and things of that nature, said to
Capt. Richard Guillette, ARCENT Kuwait, S-1.
"Our mission (S-2) is to keep tabs on what the Iraqis are
doing and watch the intelligence side of the house," said Sgt.
1st Class Chester Sleezer, NCOIC of S-2 ARCENT Kuwait.

Intrinsic Action 95-3 was a joint US-Kuwaiti exercise in 1995; it was not part of the Gulf War.
