Most of the times the TV coverage seem firmly on the fence, I can't help feeling that the mainstream media are too busy enjoying seeing the poster-boy for the upstart new news platforms that they feel threatened by come a cropper to point out that this is a major threat to press freedom.
I suspect most mainstream media outlets and journalists will wait until Assange is safely locked up and the key thrown away before suddenly noticing that this sort of thing is actually quite scary and start screaming in the headlines that something has to be done about it.
