As long as it doesn't mess with the production of God's War.

Yeah, poor old Charlie Krank let things go a bit. I'm of the mind this is a very positive thing for Chaosium.
When I die I want the Arsenal players to lower me into my grave so they can let me down one last time.

As I understand it, Sandy and Greg are going to finish up the 7th Edition KS stuff first; they've just announced Cthulhu Wars 1.5 (new expansions and models) and we're working on that as well as Gods War simultaneously

The cynic in me says...Chaosium have got the big names back on board to try and flog the Kickstarter to the poor and huddled masses.

I loved Call of Cthulhu back in the day, but put my money into the project? Nah. Gamble your own money if you believe in the project Sandy, like you did in the 80s, you're getting none of mine.

The place had definitely gone downhill over the last several years. I'm hopeful this will put things back on track at least a bit.
I'm not too interested in Call of Cthulhu 7e... earlier versions work fine... but I am very hopeful that this changeover will help the core BRP system and its Magic World spin-off get some much needed attention.
