Ordered by the Beeb.

If it's to replace Strange & Norrell then great. If it's to replace Atlantis then I'll give it a miss.
Philip Pullman is talking about The Wire, GoT and Sopranos rather than Dr Who or Merlin so here's hoping.

Fingers crossed it's not shit. Personally, I'm waiting for an adaptation of Reeve's "Mortal Engines", I loved reading those books to my kids.
When I die I want the Arsenal players to lower me into my grave so they can let me down one last time.

Bits of the set from the film version of Golden Compass are still onsite here, that could save some licence money for starters ;)

It can only be shit, I am firmly convinced the books are unfilmable.

Let's be frank, the third one is a bit rubbish anyway, apart from the bit where the kids kill god.

Now, a Narnia/Dark Materials Crossover - that I would watch.

Chapter three - Lyra and an American Dentist go hunting.

'Noooooo! Aaaaaaaaslaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!'
