Dark sphere salute table. Rogue one.

In my official roll as shop monkey and in store scenery builder I have been given complete freedom this year to build the dark sphere gaming table for salute.

I won't post up the full table plans before the event as it will ruin the end effect, But here are a few pictures of the W.I.P build of the actual scenery.

Yup. I've been scratch building for the past week and it's my first time working at such a small scale. (though the tower is almost a metre tall.)

That's the effect i was aiming for.

Did more work on it today, really trying to get the main structure done in time so i can relax and make 600 more trees.

Built the satellite dish and gave the whole structure a black wash to darken it for highlighting.





And here is the board as it stands right now.

For anyone curious, I built and placed 1000 individual trees on this board and i now want to burn down forests in revenge.
