I think it's really brave (in a good way!) to do it and very helpful for those of us hovering on the edge/looking for inspiration.
Again, thanks for doing it.
And its great to look at as well! :D

cheers bud and would love to see you sculpt something if you get the mojo, Pedro's Bugman site was great for tutorials and loads on youtube!

Thanks! I'll see if I can improve enough to pluck up courage to post something soon-ish.

Best wishes

The addition of the reader has defiantly pulled it together. I'm not sure about the 'eye' at the very top or what it adds.

The reader is a little flat compared to the heads and I would like to see the book and hood more pronounced and I wonder if a skeletal hand holding the book would work?

Can we have a close up of the 'eye' and reader please?

Overall another piece to be proud of - well done!

yep, general consensus is that as a flat the cultist works on it's own but not with the rest of the more rounded so I've scrapped it off and will be starting
the same sort of thing but more fleshed out :-)

The eye on the pyramid is the illuminati symbol, my idea being that if people are hearing about a hidden society it's probably lies but you can't ignore it
because people repeat what they hear and when enough people repeat something it becomes "fact"...... I like the idea of a skeletal hand or like a mech/terminator
type hand.

Sorry did not mean the eye - it's the oval shape at the top with two circular indentations that has me baffled.

Looking forward to the next step :-)

It's another eye - a deep dark old one with a goat-ish pupil, will show up better when cast but I'll try for a macro shot later :D

Ok, complete re-sculpt of occultist done, just the border section to finish off, I was pleased with the bas-relief sculpt but it
just wasn't working with the more rounded out faces - this fits much better, another great learning

Ooh! I like that. That really pops.
The head on the occultist is brilliant now.
