sculptor(s) wanted (Cavalry)

Postby sc0rcher » Thu Jan 17, 2013 7:19 pm

Looking for a sculptor for a historical project. I'm looking to start a small private venture. For quite some years I've been rather unhappy with the avaible options for this pivotal period in history. Quite some companies do very good core troops but a lot of wargamers eem to get their kicks from the prestige units/troops in their collection/army. I think at the time they are poorly served. From my experience wargamers spend extra time and attention on flagship troops and what do they get? Miniatures which have had no more attention than those of regular foot. Wargamers should be able to get centerpiece models with the same detail as highend fantasy models. Hence, this observation has led me to believe there's a market for upper-echelon miniatures for exclusive/elite troops.

Without exactly divulging what I have in mind, I can say the first thing I eye is elite/guard cavalry of two major players of Late Antiquity.
