I was prepared to throw lot of money at Spartan Games, with their Halo Ground Command game. I preordered, but then they made it clear the game was going to retail first...due to 'demand' they were unable to fill pre-orders, and I'd have to go to the end of the queue. They finally refunded my money, but at that point, the pound had dropped in value, so I basically paid to have them hold an order that they didn't hold.

They were wholly unsympathetic and unapologetic to customers that put up their hard cash and support way before it was made commercially available.

I spend that same wad of dough on a ton of Knight Models. I can't say my money would have helped them, but they chose to take it for granted. Shrug.

Yep, and I believe they own the Vendel range as well.

Didn't know about SMM, but some of us were waiting for them to re-release the 28mm Condottieri Venexia range...

That isn't what is going to do Prodos in. Being a bunch of lying, cheating, stealing scumbags is the problem.

Warcradle Studios have put a press release announcing that they have "acquired the rights to Dystopian Wars, Firestorm Armada and Uncharted Seas."

And they've got a monumentally tedious video about it too https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=3&v=gHJ3eoXhxAg I only managed to watch about two minutes before I lost the will to live.

At least they're very clear : there is nothing for kickstarter backers.
