It only took me ~20 years to get it painted after I tracked down the 3 bone-armour champions. (only 1/3 to paint now!)

One of my favourite models from that range. And this is a great colour scheme. Top marks!

Let's see if the pic uploads. Not really a mini... but I thought I might try and save this thread from obscurity. Anyone ever seen these before? Nobody I've asked so far has ever seen them. There's a pic on the back of the manual of the buildings with the studio army sat on them, to they're the real deal.

I think they released a few card buildings for 40K. Can't find any details though....

Yeah, I remember the card buildings - I think there was a fantasy set too, a cottage, guard tower and something else - and then a few 'campaign' box sets with their own themed cardboard buildings?

If you're wondering where to find them, though, I haven't got a clue :P

I remembered to log in this time...

The weird thing about these ones is that there's no printed detail on them. All the detailing is coloured cardboard and lengths of balsa. They're very different from the other buildings GW made, which all had printed detailing (Some bunkers from White Dwarf and the Battles book, an imperial firebase, a landing pad, a couple of ork forts, a power station from a Dark Angels themed mission pack, a ruined Imperial Shrine). These seem much more 'craft shop'-ish, and even with the product codes I can't find mention of them anywhere.

I'm wondering if they might have been a test-batch or short lived release.

I remember some cardboard Ork building kits right before Gorkamorka came out, but I don't thing it was that. I think it was more of an elaborate fortress.

There was a big fort in the Gorkamorka box. They also released the "Ork Stronghold", which is a smaller fort with a tower. There was an 'Orc Village' too, but this was a single piece cast in foampolystyrene iirc.
