Cheap and cheerful I guess. They'll have an empty display case for shows though.

But why aren't they getting a proper Frothers roasting for doing so? (in the grand WGF tradition)

Oh, wait they're not an American company...

I can't put the finger on it but somehow they look too 40k for my taste, although I really dig a couple like the British rocketmen.

Not sold on these in the slightest.

I wasn't really sold on their other stuff either.

Something about it doesn't work in my view, the whole WW1 era uniforms with sci-fied up guns and extra rivets.

Very meh to me.

Most of the faces look Asian. Particularly on Americans.

Erm possibly because they already have products out there on the shelf?!!!

Plus Frothers isn't anti-yank, it's anti rip-off. As in:

'I have this really cool idea, give me the money now and I'll give you a product in a, erm, heh, couple of months. We don't need kickstarter - you can trust me . . . . '

6months later, no product.

'Sorry people, my mailman has been sick, fallen off his bicycle only to be ravaged by a bear. Luckily he survived and got home just in time for his wife to go into labour. As if that wasn't bad enough I decided to have a kitchen re-fit, although obviously struggling for funds, which meant I had no where to erm, yeah, erm, pack the miniatures into.'

Love Spartan's ship games, but this leaves me underwhelmed. Nothing really exciting me :(

The colored 3D sculpts are a new low though. Portraying something that can never exist on the table top is BS. I know I will never be an award winning painter, but at least I know it can be done. This, no :(

I don't think some of them have translated into miniatures too well. There are some very particular poses in the American photo. A lot look quite flat in others, but dispite the poor photography there seem to be a few interesting pieces in there.

Look good to me. 8) :froth:

For the over the top steampunk style it needs a bit more of the fantastic than the Dystopian wars world seems to have though. Needs magic, aliens or mutants (or something really original to make it stand out from the crowd) to really compete IMHO. Seems that they have rushed this out to stake their claim on the genre if you ask me, not even a "real" rulebook! :?
