who was just as much Joker as anyone.

fuck off Sc0rcher. "I liked the actor who played the Joker in the 80's when I was still in high school and cool"
It doesn't matter anyway, just buy some figures from the mightiest sculptor in the world! All Hail the creator! Brought forth from the loins of a 3 legged yorkshire terrier! Look upon his majesty!

Yes I like Nicholson's Joker better. So what? Like you say, it's one interpretation of the character. So is Ledger's, yet with all the Hollywood hyping, it's like there's just one "real" interpretation.

TBH while I loved Ledger's Joker, my favourite Joker has to be Mark Hamill

There are effectively two era's of comics now, considering that you have the Ultimate universes which sort of represents the change in the comic world.

In the old days it was ok just to have baddies and goodies and wackey costumes which is reflected in the old TV series.

Tim Burton Batmans were nice and dark but still had that comedic element to the bad guys.

For what its worth I like the new batmans because it has Burtons darkness but with a new harder edge to them.

As a result I think you get a more believable bad guy. Ledger did a good job in that role.

But each actor has played the role they were given well.
