Mad Robot Miniatures Greatcoats Preview

Postby Lovejoy » Sat Mar 17, 2012 3:04 pm

Don't think we've seen these here yet:

Time for a Greatcoats update. Here is a picture of all the prints we needed for casting. I still need to go over these and make sure they are up to standards but it gives a complete picture of what we're dealing with.
Hoping to have these to the caster in a few weeks....they will be cast in metal.

There will be enough parts in the final product to build a 10 man squad, with arm options for a Sgt. and a couple alternative weapons. We are planning on having 15 heads included, 5 of each variant.

Wow those elbows are al in the wrong place.... also the bent leg is way too long.... rest of the legs and the guns look ok though.

I agree although.. the legs could be partly due to persepective and the arms could look weird because the shoulderpads add length to the upper arm

The Dreamforge ones?

What looks more odd than the arms/ elbows to me is the feet/ boots. The heel part is far too long compared to the the rest (not that I can sculpt anything that would look even remotely as decent as these).

If they mix with a certain manufacturer, I'm all for them ;)

I can't have enough sci-fi cannon fodder - plus a little convertiness and they'd be great for the new soldiers from Soldier...
