Salute....

Postby --- » Sun Apr 17, 2016 5:25 pm

Anyone got a pix?

We were rammed most of the day (didn't get off the stand 'til gone 4 and saw bugger all of the games)

Good to see Justin and his dad

One thing that was sadly missing was a Frothers game this year. Something we'll surely have to rectify for next time.

Anyone have any ideas? Anyone prepared to cat-herd it? I'll be working but am more than happy to supply scenery, minis or paint slapping....

Had a great time as usual, but very busy - demoing, talking to a vast array of people - hardly got around at all and my photos will be of my game. To my huge relief the game worked fine. Bought exactly 1 pack of figures (Fireforge crusades archers - they looked nice). Overall it looked busy and the crowds lasted throughout the day.

Managed to talk to quite a few people. Trade wise the first hour between 10 and 11 seemed very quiet and I was starting to think it was going to be a poor show, then people started buying and the next time I looked up it was 3pm

But again saw nothing of the show, didn't buy anything either. Just spent 11 hours straight on my feet!

Spent twenty quid on paint but that was it.

We basically did this a few years back with A Nightmare on Frothstreet.... 600+ zeds, a few survivors and Rev's wonderfully bonkers scenery. Probably too soon to revisit.

Well, as I'm currently working on pirates, Dozy has a pirate project, and everyone loves pirates, I suggest a pirate game of swashbuckling fun.

Frothers of the Caribbean, Frother Island, Jolly Frother...
