Spent c£90 on bits and pieces to finish off (as if
) a couple of armies but resisted the siren call of new departures (must be getting old and crusty). Missed the first session of the Zama participation game with Phil Sabin and couldn't commit to stay for the whole second session so missed that
Otherwise a very enjoyable day. The pasty was nice but £4.50! Better than £9.00 at the ashes a month ago though
Seemed busy but not impossible by any means. Spoke to a couple of traders who, at the half way stage, seemed quite happy with the spend so that was good.
The segregation of the games on the top floor probably works from an organisational point of view but I wonder if it does lead to a two tier event.
I think the change to a one day even seemed successful though.
Neville Dickinson was there - like anybody older than me I thought he was dead.
