Anybody planning on going to this? Thornbury Leisure Centre just north of Bristol.
Lots of plastic modelling oddly enough, but wargames sellers and players there too.

I thought I might go if none of you lot will be there.

Some of my friends are putting on a 54mm Oldhammer game, Warhammer ain't really my cup of tea but I think I might go down and have a mooch around.

Well I went, saw a couple of acquaintances.

Also Saw Annie, Dice Bag Lady but she had run off by the time I made my way across the room (don't blame her). Did buy some figures off Dead Man's Hand/Firestorm, what a nice chap :) .

A lot of very inactive wargames, pretty enough but the game's the thing surely? Some action but on small competition type tables with two people per game, intent on the game not explanation (I know - make my mind up what do I want action or talk? Both?). The Escape Committee on the other hand were very chatty and whilst I didn't see any action their game looked interesting - a hypothetical Cold War gone hot in 20mm.

No handout on the door to say what was where so I may have missed stuff but it was generally an okay day.

Colours (Armageddon as was) next then.
