Right-o, I've gone and booked TAG into Vapnartak in York this year, but I'm a complete Vapnartak-Virgin... anything I need to know about the event before hand? Anybody else here booked into the event, or attending as a gamer?
(bit scared really, hard work is sort of outside my comfort zone...)

Once you get past all the bitching above a few points to note:
1) Its busy - very very busy and not a lot of room between stands to move 2) Food is fair to naff (but name a show that isn't) - tea was A1 3) The grass car park is designed to test tanks when not in use - the smallest amount of rain within 3 miles turns it into a quagmire 4) Watch out for the folk in the competitions - they are serious bods and do not take 'not interested in that period' well!
Oh - did I mention the grass car park is naff?
DO NOT park near the park - cars are regularly broken into in that area. Folk seem to think wargamers leave money in the cars rather than little toys!
