Know someone who went as a trader last time.... total waste of time and money. Good party though

Yeah, I'd be going as a punter, probably as a guest of Sandy & Co. Just wondered who else might be there. Didn't Richard @ Otherworld go as a trader last year?

I've had a stand at Spiel a couple of times. I'm not going this year, but probably will in 2014.

It's a long trip, about 4-5 hours from Calais, and a 4-day show. I found it pretty worthwhile, commercially. Turnover for the 4 days each time was about the same as the single day at Salute, stand fees around the same as Salute (but for 4 days). I picked up plenty of new customers, plus some trade accounts too.

I suggested taking a 'UK Indy Miniatures Companies' stand a few years back, but there wasn't much enthusiasm. I still think that would be a good idea.
