I have got into the Euro/Ameritrash games at a local boardgames club.

however there are a few wargamers lurking theere too. I can bring along a skirmish game I suppose, but board wargames are soemthing we used to do too.

No way in hell are we going to be able to crack open some old style SPI or Avalon Hill game for the time we have, but is anyone doing the smaller micro or "magazine" type games these days?

Thanks
(now, where did I put my copy of Arriba EspaƱa?)

The C3i (GMT house) magazines have mini games in them. Just tried the Soviet Dawn mini game in issue 17. Although it's set up as a solo game, it does play well with others.

Check out Victory Point Games. They do small, affordable, games on a variety of subjects: straight up military wargames and family style "Euro" games.
