actually good, replayable board games?

Proper frother gaming in its purest form, without the stupid miniatures. Prepare to receive Boarders!

Oh aye, Formula Dé/Formula D is good. It's just had a re-release last year, too. It's decent with three or four, but the more the merrier (it takes up to ten). With a smaller number, it's too easy for someone to just sit in the perfect racing line and win. With larger numbers, it increases the chances that someone innocently ends up in exactly the place you need to get through to go through a bend safely, and you end up blowing a tyre. :)

I love the Arkham Horror, apparently Eldritch Horror is very similar, but covers the whole globe rather than just the iconic town and it's neighbouring cult infested areas. Different games every time, but to get the truly "re-playable" aspect, it might be best to almost roleplay the game, rather than just "game" it, if you understand what I'm blathering about.
Another good game is ticket to ride (the original) with the 1812 expansion (extra tickets/game styles), although due to time/space issues I usually just play via the mobile app now - much quicker and cheaper, and can be played solo.

Enjoying Andean Abyss quite a bit. Made for 4 players but will work very well with 3 or 2. Even a solitaire capability, although I haven't tried it yet. Any love for AH's Third Reich or Advanced Third Reich?

Well, that pretty much answers the question. :D Enjoyed it quite a lot in the 80s and still have a beat up copy. Never any time to play it though.

actually good replayable board games

Great games, I might still have them around. I also replaced the counters with Essex minis and was going to make a 3D game board for the Samurai one and use Dixons. Great scenarios and a lot of replay value.

Hey all! Just thought I’d make a dedicated thread!

Please post any requests for TFL rules in the thread so I know what to post first!

Happy Gaming and make sure to email Richard Clarke and thank him for allowing me to offer this service only on Frothers!
