Really enjoyed this. Quite a short book, reminded me of something Susan Hill would write.
Late 1930s, a team set off to the Arctic, it gets creepy.
Good story, well written (in the style of a journel), only one sub plot didn't feel right. I won't spoil it
Anyway, Recommended

:D That's the one. As soon as I read 'Gus, I love you' I got an image in my mind of the priest on the plane in Father Ted declaring his love for his best mate (sat next to him and also a priest), made me laugh out loud and nearly ruined it for me
