Hitchcock's The Birds still scares me shitless.

Martyrs is guaranteed to stop you sleeping.

Hard Candy has some genuinely disturbing moments too.

I've met a few, all victims of fashion.and twats.

That was a pretty arse about tit way around a personal dig without even logging in.... Just call me a prick in the music thread. :-/

I don't (generally/usually) get scared by movies, but the original Blair Witch? BORING! Except that very final, ever so brief scene of the lad in the hoody facing the corner? Shitted me up for weeks! Something must have been said earlier on in the film that connected to that image. Fuck me I was shitted up for weeks 'cause of that.

Won't watch found footage films since...

LaLa Land scares me becuase how did this steaming pile of hite win any oscars? Aside from the asinine plot, the actual structure of the film falls down on any kind of scrutiny. And Stone getting an oscar for best actress in all films in the last year? Now that is scary!

Paranormal Activity.
Funny story - I went to the cinema to see it on release, watched the film. At the end credits some girl who must have been around 18, got up and shuffled out of her seat and into the isle. 4 steps later she was curled up on the cinema floor crying her eyes out as her friends tried to calm her down. Bargain experience for a £7.10 cinema ticket.

And I love how they put the "Based on real events" at the start.... keeps you guessing what % is real event...
Worth a watch if you are alone in the dark house one evening.
