Its a very good movie, as good as if not better than any of the previous MCU movies.

yep, pretty much thought it set a great standard for the rest :) Still bothered by the way they keep wasting great villains though.

Crossbones was excellent and would have been great to see more of him and the use of the name Zemo on the bad guy was completely irrelevant to the plot.

Yeah, kids were very happy with it too - Tom's new favourite hero is Black Panther.
New spiderman? Not so sure...

Even the wife really enjoyed it and she's seen hardly any MCU films. Best Spidey so far by a country mile.

I've previously been quite disparaging about the Marvel films, but spurred on by good reports from friends of Civil War and having a few days at home recovering from an illness I ploughed through all the films from the first Captain America through to Ant Man (I skipped GoG as I don't have it and couldn't get my hands on it) before watching Civil War.

Well doesn't it make a difference if you watch them in sequence and pay attention? I particularly liked the Cap films and whilst I preferred Winter Soldier to Civil War it is a very good film. Over long like all of them but full of great bits, although it feels more like an Ensemble like the Avengers that the other Cap films. I did like the new Spiderman too.

Recommended. And a lot better than the moribund Batman v Superman.

Sorry, didn't like one bit...

Too long, too many out of the blue characters, thin storyline...

Fell asleep at the end, that was the best part of the experience.
