Password question

Postby TikTok » Wed Oct 15, 2014 3:35 pm

I usually browse here using the PC I'm on right now, I also have a laptop and after a maddening number of attempts to log on there I reset my password and then was able to log in on the laptop.
All good so far.
However, on coming back to this PC to update settings it still automatically logs in using an old password as I haven't changed any settings here.

Is this a glitch or does the system accept multiple passwords for user accounts?

Anyone shed any light on it?

I have had the same thing happen in the last few days from my work PC.

Sounds like a cookie issue. Have you tried clearing your cookie cache and then restarting your browser? It may help... hopefully.

Whether it's acookie issue is moot I think, the fact remains I can log in here, with this profile, using two different passwords.

Oh and I take it that 'asking doc' is like sending my apprentice out for a 'long stand'.

Technically asking Doc is the right thing to do. In practice this is not always the most efficient way of getting an answer. Rain dancing might work better :)
