assuming i could do that... i probably wouldn't... its there to allow those Members that want to can post from where-ever can... most long term Members know to put a name on it... if they want thier comment to have any validity (Macunaima always seems to manage, bless him)

But i can't, its not in my abilities to do that kind o' technical stuff...

I get told this about once every 6 months, that John OFM is banned or blocked or whatever...

once i spoke to the guy on FaceBook Message, and the IP he quoted was indeed on our banned list... so i queried where the cat was at, dig... and he said he was living on a US 'base' and that maybe other untoward 'stuff' on the base, had got him banned... (like i'd make this shit up...)

Oddly (as if that wasn't enough) none, and i've been give about three so far, of his email addresses he's given as his log ins, show up in our log... so he's never even tried to Register..

so you work it out, he has no log in, so i haven't banned him, and yet for reasons unknown he can't post because his IP got banned...

It would wipe out nearly all the spam in the froth pot if the Sharashite accounts were deleted. Perhaps Doc might take some pity if he ever pops in again.

I see someone took that as a challenge - hence all the 'new members' from a couple of months ago posting porn links (at least the names suggest they are - funnily enough I haven't checked )

If a bunch of spamming cunts can join as easy as wink, how come so many others don't seem to be able to manage it?
