Found this Kickstarter for an EVE Online like game, but more open ended...

Looks interesting in a sort of weird end of life option way (probably ideal for me :wry: )

Not sure I fancy spending my cyber dotage living with you lot though  .

Who knows, can you get a yarmulke to sit on a space helmet?

If the campaign is successful, it's two years to release...

I like that they're borrowing the EVE Online skill tree: skill training occurs in real time, so the advanced ones would take 30 days or more - I'd log in, purchase a skill, select it, log off and do something else. :D

Like EVE, player infrastructure is required, but taken to a whole new level: there are mining and manufacturing facilities, but don't recall the option of building a player run city. So feel free to build your kibbutz, with a unique political system, I'll sell you the weaponry, financing my Death Star...

If one finds one's surroundings stale, one could hoard resources and head off to another planet. Maybe Mac could build his own Brazil, Brazil, Brazil...
