could actually be good, am cautiously optimistic about it due to the Total War series being quite solid to date.

However with the history of GW conversions to computer games, it could also be the biggest fuck up of the Total War series

Hopefully they won't repeat the fuck up that was Rome 2 on launch.

I thought the Total War series was heading towards the creation of a WW1 game? :? That's what it seemed like they were doing.

Can't understand why they need the Total War engine for Warhammer games. There wasn't really that much of a problem with the game engines they used on previous Warhammer games. The Total War games have succeeded because they've been based on historic battles and scenarios. Warhammer may not fit so easily within it.

It will be hard to beat the fuckup that was Rome 2 at release :)

GW inspired computer games have been quite good IMHO. Shadow of the Horned Rat and Dark Omens were ace, and the Dawn of War games are decent fun.
