Not a good start to the dogfighting module, looking at the Pax-East presentation they had:

http://www.polygon.com/2014/4/11/560574 ... ing-module

You have to flick through all that, because the game kept on crashing on him. It looks good (when it does get going) but it ends like a slow, wet fart. It doesn't give me much confidence for when it finally does get a player release - whenever that might be :(

I think the Elite Dangerous game looks better, though, and by the time the SC dogfighting module does come out, Elite Dangerous players will be playing the premium beta (lucky bastards!) I wish I'd put the money I put into Star Citizen into Elite Dangerous now :(

I might still go for the standard beta. Still unsure about their update-payment idea.

let all those lemmings try it out first then maybe try it once it has had a couple gig worth of patches released then find in the bargain bin.

It's an MMO, so no bargain bin, unless they really do mess things up and are forced to release it as just a one player game with limited net play (like Freelancer)

But it was a disaster of a presentation, yet people are still throwing their money at the game :?

And that targeting graphic is bound to annoy after a while. I wonder if they have the option of switching it off?

And they've not even had to hire ladyboys

Being an MMO does not make it immune to the bargain bin i'm afraid. Its up to the seller that does that.

Lets hope the single player campaign is longer than most fps shooters though and doesn't crap out by having to complete the storyline online.

They've just released their own video of the event on the CIG website:

Apparantly, everything went pretty smoothly! :loopy:

Yet another delay

But, fuck me! More and more backers are really starting to get pissed-off judging by the comments underneath! About time more of them woke up.

I haven't checked the website for months, but I'm waiting for the big reveal when Roberts admits that Wingmanwhateverthefuckhescalled is actually the CEO and then the fat fuck rips off the latex mask to reveal... Tony Reidy!

Or worse, Derek Smart

Even when they do get it working, it'll keep crashing on the first few days because of all the players trying to get on.

Meanwhile, over at Elite Dangerous, they're now in Premium Beta  They've met all their deadlines so far and are generally pissing all over Star Citizen, but these caught my eye:

Fuck yes! Gotta get them! :D
