Yeah but you don't get the lifetime expansion updates if you wait for then

and the Frontier website does make Star Citizen's look like it was coded by Bill!
(What the fuck is Roberts doing with all that money?)

He's bringing his "vision" into being (all at the same time) and doing something "historic" if you believe all the acolytes on the SC forums

Anyway, I thought about getting a lifetime expansion pass, but at £35, it may well be that each update will cost about £5. I'm not too fussed about that :)

Their real newsletters are the jump point magazines, but they're only available to subscribers who get all the info early. The rest of us have to wait for scraps from the table  At least Frontier Developments gives their newsletter out free to all backers.

Still, fuck Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous Standard Beta is out in 8 days :D :D :D

I'm excited, me :D

What a fucking miracle, they've actually improved the flight model a bit. Took them long enough

Auto aiming, though :|

And their greatest cheerleader, Eric "What's my weight Wingman" Peterson has left CIG, apparantly to spend more time making another Descent game with others that had left CIG previously. Perhaps he actually made the mistake of saying "no" to Chris Roberts one time. Maybe one day we'll find out what really happened there.

It's probably for both, knowing them

The racing feature they recently added was a bit shit, though. It's just Wipeout in the sky. Even the M50 racing ship looks like a Wipeout racer. It plays crap on my PC, but that's because of the mad fixation Chris Roberts has with fidelity. Every object has to be modeled in intricate detail with massive amounts of polygons or it's not used.
