looks like a captain america/dan dare story in the near future.if richard branson acquired the rights to dan dare.why is there no funding for the movie.(i would like to see dan dare back in the pages of 2000a.d.)i am surprised no one commented on danny cannon tomorrow people remake?

But isn't Dan Dare supposed to be set in the future? Even if it looked like the past.

Can't see Dan saying "momma", either. :)

Apparently the original stories were set "in the late 1990s" (1). Technically not the future. Still not going to make sense if you want to get bothered about it, though.
