3D6 Supers! and Super Mission Force

Postby Australian Dawn » Tue Oct 08, 2019 4:08 am

Has anyone here played 3D6 Supers 2nd Edition or Super Mission Force 2nd Edition by Scott Pyle?
If so I'd love to hear what you thought of them.

Thanks.

No one?
I get the feeling Superhero gaming isn't that popular, which seems strange considering all the superhero movies they're making these days.

I ordered them both anyway.

For superhero figures, look up batches of Heroclix on eBay (don't pay the exorbitant prices for singles). Should get you a team or two if you want to mix and match, plus some villains to face them. The Heroclix figures can be repainted and the plastic is OK for conversions.
I Froth because I care about miniatures.

That sounds like a good idea. I've seen some good heroclix conversions around and would like to work on doing some myself and I'll no doubt need a fair few cheap figs to practise on because my conversion success rate isn't too good!

I can never understand why the vehicle rules in these rules sets are so light on. Superhero comics and shows are full of iconic vehicles that deserve to be properly customised and stated out. It just seems strange to have vehicle rules and not cover them in more detail.
