That's about right. This story is pretty much Daily Mail territory.

really just SOP to give them something to write about - Start a story, get everyone angry... then other journos can argue back... so it runs and runs.

Charlie Brooker had a good bit about Syrian Refugees - the mock interviews with morons type - where the man was saying that the papers told him the Syrian refugees were all vermin... but then they showed a sad picture of a drowned toddler and told him they were people after all??? who knew? and how confused he was... but that then they went back to saying they were vermin again, so that was OK. :D

King Herod is alive and well.

I really couldn't give a flying fuck about the cunt or her dead children.

Daddy, who seems to have fucked off to Bangladesh with another wife, chips in with a non apology for his spawn's actions.

He can drop dead too.

...and if reading this gives Bronsteen a fit of apoplexy even better. :)

On a positive note, at least the child won't grow up resenting the British government for what they did to his mother, and then go and stab people, or shoot them, or cut off heads, etc.

Doesn't really matter what she thinks of the British government, since she's already shown she hates us.

The Conservative MP Phillip Lee said the decision was driven by populism. He told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “Clearly Shamima Begum holds abhorrent views and to want to join Islamic State is beyond all comprehension, but she was a child, a product of our society.

“I think we had a moral responsibility to her and indeed to her baby. That is why at the time I was just troubled by the decision. It seemed driven by a sort of populism, not any principle I recognise.”
