All BS, except that in OZ the hospitals are being emptied of elective surgery admissions so that there are personnel & beds freed up for the coming increase in COVID patients. Other countries would be doing the same if they have any sense.

Over here private hospitals have been emptied in preparation to receive non CV-19 NHS cases

My wife's knee replacement has been postponed. While she is annoyed at having to put up with the pain of bone grinding on bone when she hobbles, at least she isn't stuck in hospital trying to recover while there are COVID cases in the same building.
