WTF is this murderer and rapist emancipator going on about?

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee says he has been "named to head up" what would be an unconstitutional 2024 re-election campaign for Donald Trump.

Mr Huckabee, father of former White House press secretary Sarah Sanders, made the explosive claim in a pair of tweets on Thursday afternoon in which he also said the US president was "eligible" for a third term due to congressional investigations into him.

"Greatly honored to be asked to chair @realDonaldTrump re-election campaign for @POTUS in 2024. Gives me lots of time to plan!" Mr Huckabee said without providing evidence.

He added: "I'll be on @seanhannity 2nite @FoxNews at 9pm ET and will explain how @realDonaldTrump will be eligible for a 3rd term due to the illegal attempts by Comey, Dems, and media, et al attempting to oust him as @POTUS so that's why I was named to head up the 2024 re-election."

By that logic, Bill Clinton should have run in 2000.

I know and they shouldn't have passed it in the first place, but since they did, they should adhere to it! AFAIK, there hasn't been any sufficient demand to repeal the 22nd Amendment...

He's probably trolling and will soon go back to performing arse scratch fever with Ted Nugent, the guy who soiled himself to avoid the draft so he could sing a song about underage girls!

This won't get much media talk, but Lindsey Graham, taking a break from fitting both of Trumps testicles in his mouth, is part of the goon-squad haranguing tech companies to "Just let the feds peek at peoples data, just a little, we promise we won't do anything bad with it".

What could go wrong? It's not like the government has ever done warrant-less wire tapping before.

Classic example of “What goes around comes down the...” or however it goes.
Reagan could have had a third term, and Obama definitely.
Eisenhower?

I can’t believe that Trump is serious about that. If he deserved a third term because the first was tied up with bullshit, EVERY president could have made that claim.
But Trump is not known for his grasp of precedent and history.
There’s not a state in the Union that would allow his name on a ballot for a 3rd term.

So it's starting to happen, huh?
You voted him in and now he's looking at ways he can change the constitution so he can stay in power indefinitely.
'Oh, but he'll never get away with it...' you'll say.
Wasn't the same thing said about him when running for president - that he'll never win?
And what happened? Enough people voted for him, enough people agreed with him. It only takes enough people to agree with him again, and...

Be careful, America. Be very careful.

The third term talk is just jazz for the cameras.
Conservatives know that their surrender to Trumpism is complete. If they seem to disobey their thought leader in any way, they know they'll face their own version of the tea party, only ths time it's "blood and soil" militants.

So they roll over and expose their bellies and try to say the right things so the angry mob does not get them too.

Sure, the likes of JJBIll and Winnie will loudly proclaim that they are different but they will line up dutifully to vote for him again, while he openly mocks everything they have claimed to have ever stood for.

Meanwhile, Lindsey Graham has invited Rudy to testify about his latest "findings".

Should be quite a show.

If the Democrats keep nominating crooked and lunatics, then yes. I will clench my teeth, hold my nose and vote for the horse’s ass.
Whatever happened to rational democrats and republicans?
