Calling members of your own party "human scum" sounds like a winning strategy.

...aaaaaand that’s the problem in a nutshell.

“Everybody” here means rich old white men on their second and third wives, usually trophy wives. Or divorced middle class white men who think having to pay child support is “entitlement”.

In other words, guys who believe woman should shut the fuck up and navigate while they drive, neh? Who think that they should no longer have to pay for their kids if their ex has gone on with her life. Rush is indeed the poster boy for that demographic.

Meanwhile, these same men can relate to a guy who is on wife number... three? Four? I always forget. Who’s cheated on every wife with his next wife to be and apparently buys his women from a lab somewhere in Eastern Europe. Who’s courting style is to “grab them by the pussy”.

This is the guy who is more “likeable” to the likes of you, neh, Bill? And even then, the Russians had to step in to get him elected, by a minority of voters and an even smaller minority of Americans.

Yeah, that’s a real stamp of approval for your boy Trump, now isn’t it? That’s gonna save democracy and the republic and make ‘Muricuh great again.

But the fact that you think Rush’s comment means something is a pretty damned good indication of who you think “everyone” is when it comes to America — everyone of any import, anyway,

It’s no wonder to me that so many aging American gaming nerds — most of whom are probably divorced and baffled as to why they are — like the guy.

Trump is actually the Court Jester...

Seriously though....
Calling people who already hate your guts, will never vote for you anyway, and are actually trying to defeat you “human scum” is not actually alienating potential voters.

The Never Trumpers were never loyal to him in the first place.
