The everyone is corrupt line of thinking is, I believe, both a corrosive and lazy excuse to justify inaction or more often, a cheap false equivalency to justify bad behavior by "your" side.

Trump is and has been demonstrably corrupt on a scale unprecedented in modern times. Biden while certainly guilty of bad judgement in not forcibly discouraging his son from accepting the Burisima Board seat received no apparent personal benefit nor has their been any other legitimate (non- right wing wingnut accusations) hints of enrichment.

Lumping the two together simply excuses Trump's egregious evil by creating a false equivalency and possibly worse, justifies a cynicism towards all politics that encourages people to opt out of the process with the "they are all the same, why bother" attitude.

I must say, you lefties are as consistent as we righties.
If it doesn’t appear in our preferred news sources, it doesn’t exist.

Well, there’s a non-sequitur for you. What’s the matter? Didn’t inject your bleach today, Bill?

Kirstie Alley says she's voting for Trump 'because he's not a politician'

Not a politician you say?

What McKinstry said, again and again and again.
If you have power, people are going to throw favors at you. I have no idea how you stop that, other than toss them out of office every so often. What does Nikki Haley know about aircraft??
While I'm sure the Clintons are actually interested in charitable work (along with securing salaries for their loyal staff - I'm sure they think of it as a righteous win/win) the idea of Bill accepting charitable donations while Hillary was Secretary of State is as crass as Trump running a hotel in D.C., well, except for the utter lack of charity.

are you writing for the NTY now Kyote?

How do you see the first stages of Hilary Clinton's Presidency panning out? What sort of President will Al Gore make, since he's clearly got that sewn up? I keenly anticipate watching President Kerry shaking Tony Blair by the hand on his first state visit!
