Sounds crazy but would a friend be willing to pin them for you?

Best place for Mordheim is Tom's Boring Mordheim Forum which still gets some traffic. Great source of inspiration, ideas & advice. One of the posters there maintains onedrive folders of game-related materials - https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=%21AByFcnV1qMjZdzg&id=2B7C1D22EA7D959%21153&cid=02B7C1D22EA7D959

For one chap's recent(ish) thoughts on proxy models, see http://yodhrinsforge.blogspot.co.uk/2016/03/alternative-mordheim-model-megalist.html. It's far from exhaustive.

You read my mind - exact,y the response I was looking for, the blog post offers a good start... Other inspiration welcome...

You have seen that I struggle gluing them together?

Not a putty pusher...

I recommend sculpting them yourself. With a pack of Green Stuff from Heresy Miniatures (£9), some brass wire from Hobby Craft (less than £5) and some sculpting tools (you can make these from old paintbrush handles so pretty cheap)... oh and a cork from your favourite bottle of cheap wine... you can sculpt a whole warband :)

There are also cardboard 'standees' out there...

Ok, so I realise that my 1st post was too broad - I knew about most of the suggestions, and I was looking for more specific suggestions...

after reading the coreheim open rules a little - I now know I'm looking for the following suggestions:

reiklander
middenheim
sisters of sigmar

(I have undead and skaven already)

I'm looking for suggestions - captains, champions, youngbloods and troops...

If you could point me at specific models or subranges Id appreciate it.

also - If you are at all interested in the game and know where non official warband creation lists can be found, that'd be great (I'm looking for dwarves, but also other warbands)
