Franco Prussian War

This is an amazing level of customer service. If you have WW1 & Breakthrough you now have:
1 Balkins Conflict prior to WW1
2 Russian Civil War
3 An Entire WW2 game
4 Franco-Prussian War

All on the strategic level.

This is an amazing value for an excellent WW1 Strategic Level game.

I've got 1870 in a box downstairs someplace or at least the first iteration of Bruce's rules. He and I used to chat a bit when he was in Ohio I seem to recall with Cannon. Anyway I not only need need to look for it I also need to order "To the Last gaiter Button". Thanks again.

I did buy Deathride Mars-La-Tour 1870 from Against the Odds. I haven't had a chance to read it yet but it is a beautiful game.

Yes 'To the Last Gaiter Button' is worth getting for the campaign game alone.

An excellent set of rules for a historical source (OBs and maps for every single battle, plus useful historical notes) are Bruce Weigles '1870'.

Thanks folks; I've also found S&T 224 The Sedan Campaign 1870 while not a pretty game is at least Division level instead of Corps and I've been looking for an excuse to pick up "To the Last Gaiter Button" so this seems to be the kick in the pants I needed.

The rules 'To the Last Gaiter Button' by Realistic Modelling also include a campaign game battle generator which is essentially a strategic boardgame covering the Imperial phase of the war.

Strategy & Tactics also had the "Battle of Konninggratz" (sp?) from the Austro-Prussian war...not sure of the number.

You could also try searching for various larger FPW battles.

Is anyone aware of any board games past or present for the Franco Prussian War other then these four:

SPI 1972
S&T #149 1992
Victory Points Game 2012
Deathride: Mars la Tour 2008

Thanks and any help is appreciated.
