In a motel room in Delacroix, drinking like a Dartmouth boy...

One should learn to use Google before parroting morons from Dartmouth.

He gets flak because a high school dropout he considers himself the moral scold of us all.

One could have a PhD and still be an arsehole, so I never factored in his education level. The guy appears to have an habit of emotional outbursts, followed by backtracking, especially if it affects his profits, kind of like that Orange Fool.

He didn't just retract it, he issued a generic non apology apology.

Maybe he wouldn't get so much flack, if he were consistent, but I guess money talks...

LeBron James' comments on China an embarrassment to himself and NBA

LeBron made an emotional outburst, thought better of it, and retracted it. Like an adult. Never understood why the guy gets so much flak.

LeBron James tweets then deletes call for 'accountability' in the shooting death of Columbus 16-year-old Ma'Khia Bryant

Ma'Khia Bryant, a young Black girl, was shot and killed by a Columbus police officer Tuesday afternoon while yielding(sic) a knife and reportedly attempting to stab another female. Bryant's death has since sparked national outrage.

James, an outspoken advocate for social justice causes, tweeted out a picture Wednesday afternoon of the police officer who is believed to have shot and killed Bryant, writing "YOU’RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY."

Some say the officer should've tased or tackled the knife wielder, but the former isn't that effective and the latter would've resulted in an injured or incapacitated cop and the possibility of the knife lady going back after her target.

Speaking of mister accountability...

Il Segaiolo Pedantesco wrote:Texas Gov. Matthew McConaughey? Actor Has Double-Digit Lead Over Incumbent in Poll: Actor has tossed around the idea of making the leap into politics but hasn’t don’t so officially just yet...

Matthew McConaughey may not have officially entered the 2022 race to be the next governor of Texas but, apparently, Texans hope he will, as he holds a 12-point lead over Republican incumbent Greg Abbott, according to a poll released Sunday by The Dallas Morning News and the University of Texas at Tyler.

Among the 1,126 registered Texas voters polled April 6-13, 45% would vote for McConaughey, 33% would vote for Abbott and 22% would vote for someone else. Of the Republican voters polled, 56% said they’d vote for Abbott, compared to only 30% for McConaughey. The margin of error is +/-2.9%.

The poll also shows, however, that McConaughey’s middle-of-the-road politics might be a hurdle if he decides to take the plunge, as he has criticized both parties. Although Democrats leaned toward the Oscar winner by 66% to 8%, only 25% of them said they would likely support a candidate who is a centrist, while 51% want a progressive.

And, on the flip side, while independents broke 44% to 28% for McConaughey, only 20% of GOP gubernatorial primary voters preferred a centrist Republican, with 18% wanting for someone more like Donald Trump and 14% wanting someone more conservative.

I prefer Kinky Friedman.
