If the Mods want to move it they can...I've not played it yet still have to build and paint ships. But I cut my gaming teeth on Naval Gaming so it's kinda nice to mess around with boats after all these years.

I’m intrigued by that game.
However, in the past, I’ve felt compelled to buy both sides and assemble good forces for both sides. Not at this stage of my life, and I suck at painting ships. :D
But if someone in my group wants to paint one side, I’ll do the other.

How does it play?
Yeah yeah. Wrong thread. I can live with that.

My favorite example of a bipartisan approach to The Budget is in Massie’s “Dreadnaught”.
The party in power in Britain proposed a Budget that called for 2 Dreadnoughts to be built. The Opposition countered with 3.
They compromised on 4.

When it comes to kicking the can down the road, you can’t beat a bipartisan committee.

Is anyone here even pretending to care about deficits or debt?
If you believe that, I have some prime real estate for building condominiums in Centralia Pennsylvania that you might be interested in.

Did you actually hear him say that?
Or did some twit on CNN show a heavily edited clip?
I listen to him every day.
What he is ACTUALLY saying is that no presidential candidate, nor anyone in Congress really believes it matters anymore. Sure, people run on it, but when push comes to shove...

Elizabeth Warren is a prime example. She is warning about a “coming economic crash”, yet she is the current leader in the Democratic race to call for massive spending. Nobody comes close when it comes to spending plans.

So the ISSUE is bogus, because nobody really wants to do anything about it. Those who say they do are either liars, or know that they will never get to do anything about it.
There are no more “fiscal conservatives”.

Of course! That’s exactly how you reason too!
Polls that agree with you are golden.
When they don’t, you question the methodology.

Anyway, that’s what the Electoral College was designed precisely for. To keep the Big States from deciding the Presidential election. It worked last time.
