Re Bristol - this actually makes the point the current Bill adds nothing useful - the violence was clearly illegal under existing legislation and the existence of yet more blanket authoritarian dribble won't add anything useful. It will however criminalise the ordinary decent politically involved people who want to hold ministers to account for a variety of excesses.
