28mm Plastic Napoleonic French Hussars
This is just a peek at what will be coming up after the Michael’s Wars of the Roses plastic box set, so these are some way off at the moment as are the WotRs.
The idea behind the Hussar box is that you’ll be able to build any French ( and a fair few foreign) Hussar regiments from the 1790’s to 1815 in either campaign or full dress. The uniform only altered slightly during the period, the dolman and pelisse both becoming slightly shorter as the period progressed, which is not that noticeable on a 28mm figure. Included in the box will be enough heads to kit the whole unit out in either mirlitons, colpacks, 3 different types of bell top shakos (one of which is covered) or cylindrical shakos. The torsos are separate from the legs to allow you to choose between the full dress breaches or campaign overalls. The pelisses are also separate.

| These are the best plastics I've seen and may (may) actually be the first box I buy. |

Are they them 3-ups then?
if so, it not FU-UKin' surprising that they are sooooooooooooooooooo beautiful.
Maybe we should all just game with these 3-up's, get the PerryBros to turn-out loads of them, and find some spare football fields to play-on.
cut-out on the delays in getting them into placcy. _________________ Coypu for Dagon

Love the versatility of these and they do look good.
A couple of points though.... they're going to take hours to assemble and the gaps in the multipart nags are going to take some filling if they're to look even half decent. _________________

I think their sole intention with this mixed use box is to troll the TMP Nappy Brigade. _________________ Confusius he say 'War not sort out who right, war sort out who left...' |

I agree, if you apply the glue and can put on a small amount of pressure the melted plastic squeezes out to fill the gaps, you can then trim off any excess.
Funny, I started off with about 4000 airfix plastics and am now considering going back to Naps after about 35 years. |
