The moment you've all been waiting for.
The winners have all earned themselves a place in the production set.
Contents of the second set will be announced later (and are not bound to specific categories).
Here they come:
Alice category:
#1 Alice and the White Rabbit - Kev White
#2 Alice and the Cheshire Cat - Kev White
#3 Alice - The Tartan Spartan
This was a very close call. Only one point difference between the three sculpts.
Tea Party category:
#1 Mad Hatter cringing in shocked outrage - Fat Goblin (Kai Teck)
#2 Mad Hatter - Ed Foster and Mad Hatter - Alex M
#3 Doormouse in tea pot - Rob and Mad hatter upside down - Ben Pung
A couple draws in this one.
Royal Court category:
#1 Ogre Queen - Brad Shier
#2 The Queen - The Tartan Spartan
#3 Captain of the Cards - Ming-Hua Kao
This one had a draw for first place, but we had to have a winner. It was a tough call but eventually the judges and Sculpting Committee agreed on the Ogre Queen for sheer character and originality. This being said, it could just as well have been the other way around.
Other Characters category:
#1 Hookah smoking catapillar advises Alice - Bob Olley
#2 The White Knight - Drew Williams
#3 Don't mess with the White Rabbit - M -H.C. Kao and Dancing Gryphon - Dr. Grant Jacobson
This is it people. I hope you have enjoyed this contest (and will be here for the next one). _________________ This spot reserved for signature.

Wouldn't that count as "treating the electorate"? |

So the production set will be four figures, right? When will it be available?
To all winners: congratulations, well done.
And when is the next competition?

There will be two sets. One with the winners, one with a selection of the other great entries. Should be 8 models in total (or thereabouts).
They will be available as soon as we can arrange to collect the figures from their sculptors and Pete can find an empty spot in his busy agenda to make the moulds.

Ik hope the two sets will be available at the same time. That will make ordering easier. I hope the White knight will be in the second set.
Oh, and the third question?
By the way, we will start the 1listsculpting VIP next week, so if anybody wants to do a sculpting project they can join in. It's not a competition though. How about you, WK? Do you sculpt? |

Nice. Now I just need Pete to PM me with his address and I'll send my entry in. _________________ Nothing I've written in the above post is in any way intended to be a dig at anyone in any shape or form unless I've specifically called you a feckless cunt in which case fuck off and die |
